چکیده
In this paper, the behavior of plenum pressure behind a transpiration-cooled porous material sample after an incident surface heat flux to is analyzed in experiment and theory. Two materials, zirconium diboride carbon/carbon, were characterized using pressure-based noninteger system identification method. The resulting impulse responses are based on two numerical models. One model calculates response by modeling sample’s conduction. A second considers additional allows changing mass flow rate through sample. experimentally obtained show stronger for increasing coolant rates. Both models cover trend, essentially depending volumetric transfer coefficient. However, only entire rebuilding experimental data. depends not parameters sample, but also volume plenum. reason that changes although at controller always stays constant.

Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer Enhancement in a Finned U-Shaped Heat Pipe of CPU Cooling System Using Different Fluids
This paper experimentally studies the heat absorption performance of a heat sink with vertical embedded heat pipes in the aluminum blade. The cooling system with embedded heat pipes distributes heat from the CPU to both the base plate and the heat pipes, and then transfer heat from fins to the Environment. The thermal resistance and heat transfer coefficient are evaluated for natural convection...
متن کاملCooling Methods in Heat Stroke.
BACKGROUND Heat stroke is an illness with a high risk of mortality or morbidity, which can occur in the young and fit (exertional heat stroke) as well as the elderly and infirm (nonexertional heat stroke). In the United States, from 2006 to 2010, there were at least 3332 deaths attributed to heat stroke. OBJECTIVE To summarize the available evidence on the principal cooling methods used in th...
متن کاملDiagnosis of Heat Exchanger Scales in Cooling Water Systems
An experimental database is compiled in order to fingerprint the scales formed over the hot surfaces of heat exchangers, in cooling water systems or other systems with similar chemistry. To collect these data, a dynamic simulating pilot plant was designed with considerable application flexibility among which simultaneous flow of water with different velocity and heat fluxes to three simulat...
